Yellow — Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Yellow mobile application and related services ("Yellow" or "the App"), provided by Aslanov Ventures LLC, operated by Farid Aslanov ("we," "us," or "the Company"). By accepting these Terms and using Yellow, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility (18+)
Yellow is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. By using Yellow, you confirm that you meet that requirement.
2. The service and privacy choices
Yellow helps you organize your day through Chat, Plan, Money, Health, Remind and Wins. It offers local/manual features and AI-assisted planning and replies. Its AI service uses OpenAI through Yellow's Cloudflare backend. See the Privacy Policy for the information each feature handles.
Accepting these Terms and the Privacy Policy does not itself authorize AI transmission. The current onboarding flow requires a separate, initially unchecked OpenAI data-sharing acknowledgement as well as the age/Terms/Privacy acknowledgement. That AI step records a local choice, not an AI request. A later deliberate AI action requires sign-in and backend validation before that choice can become current, account-bound AI consent.
The later AI-consent sheet includes Not now; that is not an onboarding skip. You can turn AI assistance off or consent again in Settings → Privacy, Legal & Data → Privacy & AI. Local non-AI features remain usable without an AI request. Optional Share Usage Analytics is separate, defaults Off, and is not a condition of free or paid use. The Privacy Policy describes withdrawal, retention and full deletion controls.
3. Free use and Yellow Premium subscriptions
Free features and allowances
Basic manual Plan, Money, Health, Remind and Wins features remain available without a subscription. Free Chat includes 10 AI Chat sends per local calendar day and resets at local midnight. Free Create with Yellow includes 7 successfully saved schedules for the lifetime of the account. A Create use is consumed only when Add to Plan successfully saves the schedule. Free Chat text input is limited to 100 characters and Free Chat voice input to 15 seconds. A local reset or sign-out does not restart an account's allowance.
What Premium provides
Yellow Premium removes those Free-plan Chat and Smart Schedule count limits and the Free text/voice limits. The purchase screen describes the included Premium benefits. Technical limits, provider availability, capacity controls and security checks still apply; service can be temporarily unavailable. Removing Free limits is not a guarantee of uninterrupted AI service or unlimited recording length.
The monthly and annual plans provide the same current Premium benefits with different billing periods. A recurring subscription is not a one-time purchase of lifetime access. Any offer specifically presented and accepted when you subscribe remains subject to its disclosed terms and applicable law.
Price, billing period, and purchase
Yellow offers monthly and annual subscription products. The available product, full price, currency and billing period are shown using Apple's purchase information before you confirm. A yearly subscription is billed for the yearly period; any daily or monthly equivalent is only an illustration, not a separate billing option. The Free tier is not itself a subscription trial, and using it does not start a paid subscription.
Apple charges the Apple Account used for the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled under Apple's subscription process. Apple may process the renewal charge during the 24 hours before the next subscription period starts. Review the purchase confirmation and renewal information Apple supplies. Your applicable purchase offer and consumer rights continue to apply.
Cancellation, expiration, and billing problems
You can stop future renewal through iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Yellow → Cancel Subscription, or through the Apple subscription-management option available in Yellow. Cancellation and deletion are different actions. Ordinarily, canceling renewal leaves access for the remaining paid period while the entitlement remains valid; expiration, a refund or revocation can end access. A failed payment does not guarantee continued Premium access. A billing grace period applies only when Apple provides one and Yellow can verify it.
Restore and ownership
Purchase and restore require sign-in to Yellow. Premium is associated with the Yellow sign-in used for the purchase and its Apple transaction. Use the purchasing Apple Account and the same Yellow sign-in when restoring. Open the Premium purchase screen and choose Restore Purchases. Restoring under a different Yellow sign-in does not transfer ownership.
Access requires successful Apple and Yellow-backend verification. A pending verification is not a completed activation or restore. Contact faridaslanov@icloud.com if a valid purchase is not recognized; do not send sign-in credentials.
Changing plans and refunds
Use Apple's subscription-management interface to view available plan changes. Apple shows the applicable price and effective date. A monthly-to-annual or annual-to-monthly change is not necessarily immediate; the terms Apple presents for that change apply.
For purchases billed by Apple, use Apple's refund-request process. Eligibility depends on the purchase and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory refund or other consumer rights.
Sign-out and deletion do not stop billing
Signing out, uninstalling Yellow, deleting Yellow data, or deleting a Yellow account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel future renewal separately with Apple. Signing out clears the app's current Premium access state, and account deletion removes Yellow's entitlement and ownership records. It does not undo Apple's purchase or billing record. These Terms do not promise automatic restoration to a newly created account after deletion.
4. AI-generated content
Yellow's AI plans, suggestions and replies are for general information and organization. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Review them before acting.
They are not medical, health, fitness, nutritional, financial, legal or other professional advice. Use your judgment and consult a qualified professional before making decisions that affect your health, finances or wellbeing. Subject to applicable law, you are responsible for the choices you make based on the App.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Yellow unlawfully, infringe another person's rights, solicit or distribute unlawful or abusive content, or promote self-harm, violence or sexual exploitation of minors. You must not overload, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to Yellow or its connected services. Reverse engineering or decompilation is prohibited except where applicable law or an applicable software license permits it.
6. Reporting objectionable content
Long-press a Chat response to prepare a content-report email, then review it before sending. You can also use Settings → Send feedback or email faridaslanov@icloud.com. We review reports and may take appropriate action, including restricting access where necessary.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create, including your schedules, notes, logs, messages and attachments. You grant the limited permission needed to process that content to provide the features you use. AI processing is subject to the separate current consent and information scope described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your content or sell it.
8. Accounts, sign-out, and deletion
Sign in with Apple is optional for local use and required for authenticated AI, purchases and restore. Yellow is intended for one person using a personal iPhone/private iCloud context. It does not provide separate local profiles or shared-device account switching.
Signing out preserves your local content and eligible private-iCloud records. It does not revoke Apple's authorization or erase a backend account. While signed out, Settings → Account → Delete Yellow Data removes the current app data and installation analytics within its stated scope, but not a separate backend account or its sessions elsewhere.
While signed in, Delete Account and Data starts backend deletion, invalidates the account's Yellow sessions, requests Apple authorization revocation, and removes the relevant app and account data through the recovery-capable deletion flow. It is not reported complete merely because a request was sent. Follow any pending-recovery instructions and keep Yellow installed while recovery is active. The Privacy Policy explains iCloud limits, temporary deletion/security records, feedback, processor retention, and copies that remain outside the app's control.
Yellow does not delete your Apple Account. You are responsible for protecting your device and Apple Account. Neither deletion option cancels an Apple subscription.
9. Third-party services
Yellow uses Apple for sign-in, private iCloud and App Store purchases; OpenAI for authorized AI processing; and Cloudflare for backend processing and storage. Support email uses the relevant mail services. Their applicable terms may also govern their services. The Privacy Policy explains sharing, retention and your choices.
10. Disclaimers
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE OR ACCURATE AI OUTPUT.
These disclaimers do not override an express subscription promise or any warranty, remedy or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $50.
This limit applies only where lawful and does not exclude liability or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its operator from claims, damages, liabilities and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the App or violation of these Terms. This provision does not impose an obligation that applicable consumer law prohibits.
13. Changes to the service and termination
We may develop, change or remove features, subject to the specific subscription commitments made to you and applicable law. A general right to change the service does not cancel an offer promise already made to a subscriber.
You may stop using Yellow at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to Company-operated services for a violation of these Terms or use that could harm us, other users or third parties. Stopping use or ending access does not automatically delete local/private-iCloud records or cancel Apple billing. Use the appropriate deletion and subscription controls separately.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, lawful indemnification, governing law and the Apple license terms, survive to the extent applicable.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing here removes a mandatory protection or venue right provided by applicable consumer law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and their last-updated date, with notice and any acceptance required by the app or applicable law. Updated Terms do not silently authorize AI sharing or analytics, or take away an existing subscription promise. You may stop using the service and manage your subscription separately if you do not accept revised Terms.
16. Apple App Store license
Yellow is licensed, not sold. The license to use the App is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, incorporated here by reference. These Terms supplement that agreement for Yellow's services. The Standard EULA controls a conflict concerning the license or use of the App to the extent required.
These Terms are between you and the Company, not Apple. The Company is responsible for Yellow's services, maintenance, support and related claims, subject to the Standard EULA and applicable law. Apple and its subsidiaries are intended third-party beneficiaries of the applicable App Store provisions and may enforce them.
